A Lovely Family...

I feel like I've known Laura for awhile, but we actually met in person for the first time at her session. Laura and her friend Sarah contacted me a while ago about using my photos on their stationery site. I agreed and we've all gotten to know each other through emails and the blog world since then. (Don't just love the blog world... that's how they found me!). Laura and her family were in town for a trip to Sea World, so we squeezed in a session too. It was such a pleasure meeting them. Her boys were just adorable and so cooperative. We had a great time! And in case you are wondering, as soon as their website is up and running, I will definitely share the link with you here.

Brooke + Cassidy

An actual sneak peek! I've been a little behind on editing lately (well, on everything lately), so I wanted to get these up for their Mama to see. These girls were so much fun! I really enjoyed my time with them and their cousin, Ashton.

Soulographer Workshop

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend a great workshop with Skye Hardwick in Austin. She is an amazing children's photographer and I learned so much. I also got to spend the weekend with a fellow photographer and friend from college, Paige. We had so much fun! We also had the opportunity to do a massive photoshoot with about 18 child models. It was crazy (there were 25 workshop attendees), but well worth it. I was pretty excited about the images I got from the session. Here's a few...

Beck + Briggs

Just wanted to share a few of these two cuties. I always seem to share pics here long after I've shared them with the parents. I know lots of photographers use their blog to show a "sneak preview" before the full gallery is done, but for some reason I'm just not that on the ball. So this session was done back in February. Anyway, they were lots of fun and I enjoyed catching up with their parents. I often ask kids if they can see their favorite character in my camera lens, most of them don't really fall for it... but Beck was really into it. He was sure he saw Thomas. I love a willing subject!

Teri + Morgan

I've been meaning to share some of this beautiful mother and daughter for awhile. I haven't had the opportunity to photograph many older kids yet, so this was a lot of fun. It's actually a little harder for me to tell people what to do (I'm use to following little ones around and pretty much just taking what I can get), but I'm starting to enjoy it more and more... especially when my clients are as lovely as this.
